Fashion designer Nomi Ansari kicked off the 1st day ofBridal Couture Week with his tradition-filled enchanted collection based on ‘Mehendi’ theme.
As the music started playing on traditional tune,fashion models including Mehreen Syed, Nadia Hussain, Iraj, Ayyan and Neha Ahmed, dolled up perfectly into the persona of ‘Punjabi Mutyarun’ started strutting on the ramp with a style that carried her roots and culture with a modern elegance.
Long Kurtas, glittering with opulent details and bijou embroidery were paired with culottes and traditional chori pajamas and seemed to come right out of the land of five rivers, illustrating its growing evolution and style. From champagne subtle hues to flirtatious shades, the collection was totally a representation of girl’s dreams of bridal romance!
